on the road again

well our vacation is coming to an end :( our last stop is Charlotte NC for the next couple of days then back to Ohio. I'm going to miss the south I sure do miss living down here it's so calm the people are nicer, and I for sure will miss my mother in law not only did she cook bomb ass Jamaican food every single day she took care of the kids the entire time we slept even every day sometimes til 2pm so awful I know! she even fed and bathed them! hubby and I got to do a lot of date nights and alone time  :) one thing I'm sad about is we didn't make it to the beach :( it's ok though we will be back soon! my sisters graduation was pretty fun! nothing like smoking a 10lb pig playing corn hole and getting drunk haha I loved spending time with my familia :) the kids learned to speak a little Jamaican and they sound so freaking cute so not only do they speak English and Spanish but now Jamaican hahha EVEN AUBREE! she is the smartest 1.5 year old ever! I hope everyone had an amazing Mother's Day! I know I did! hubby got me some neon pink and orange Nike free run 5s! just in time because I've got a gazillion 5ks and a half marathon coming up!  omg so the cherry point base gym has the coolest treadmills ever! they are touch screen it took me kinda forever to figure it out but it was awesome! I know I'm being totally random but I've got a lot to share haha we will be home Saturday so then ill finally get to share allllll the pictures be prepared because I have a ton! well phone blogging gets pretty darn old and frustrating but I didn't want y'all to think I forgot about you :) so ill talk to y'all in a few days!

p.s hubby found out he won't have to do army bootcamp since he is security forces right now idk why they do it that way but I ain't complaining lol 12 wks I don't have to go without him :)

She did it!

my sister in law did it! she graduated army bootcamp! well technically not until tomorrow but today was family day. I cried all the way driving there up until we had to go find her standing at attention :) the entrance was so awesome they were all hiding in a field then colorful smoke bombs wen off and the came running out then got in formation. once again I'm blogging on my phone so once I get to a computer ill upload all vacation pictures so far, I have so much to share! I so miss living in the south I'm having a blast here the polite people the southern food and the warm weather. I've already devoured Bojangles and just ate some boiled peanuts mmmm! you are not southern if you don't eat boiled peanuts lol after tomorrow we are heading back to our home town Havelock for a week then Charlotte for the last week of our trip. I love being around family and back home I could stay here forever! and even though I'm on vacation the workouts don't stop! hubby and I have been hitting up the gym while were here. but that's all for now folks ill try and get to a computer soon!! hope everyone is having as much fun as I am!

The Rookwoods take New York

hey y'all! so I'm totally blogging on my phone, in the car! haha we are currently on our way to NYC to visit some of my husbands family, it's been 4 years since we've been to NY and boy I miss that dirty smelling air lol

before we left we did some major retail therapy! I personally think I should be a stylist cuz I picked out my hubby's outfits and man does he look sexy lol I never thought skinny jeans were that attractive til I seen them on my husbands juicy booty :P we got the kids some nice polo,Jordan, juicy couture and Nike clothes, thanks Tjmaxx and Marshall's :) aubrees wardrobe is basically just dresses but hey she is a girly girl so why not! she and I got the same color dress and sandals to wear at my sister in laws army graduation so cute! mommy daughter twins! lol and I actually got my nails done! finally! they were looking at hot mess.  OMG so even though I'm not bikini ready I bought the cutest aqua colored crocheted roxy bikini and I'm def wearing it with fat, stretch marks and all! lol no shame!
fatness! lol oh well the swimsuit is adorable! but I guess I'm off here before we lose reception haha have a good night!
